pre-diabetic is also known as borderline diabetic. many times there are no any such symptoms are seen in patients ,so it becomes difficult to find the patient at pre-diabetic stage.
most effective way to control pre-diabetes is through a combination of diet changes and life style modifications and regular exercises, focus on diet rich in high fiber fruits and vegetables and limiting junk foods and processed foods. focus on loosing weight will help to reduce risk of developing type2 diabetes many times .
controlling HbA1C within normal range is very important . incorporating regular walking and aerobic exercise like walking ,cycling in daily routine is important factor .limiting sugar and salt intake .choosing low glycemic index foods,healthy fats and lean protein sources are nessesary for Pre-diabetic diet.managing stress can significantly improve insulin sensitivity.get enough sleep 7-8 hours per night.
pre-.diabeties can often be reversed with life style change prediabetes have obesity with high triglycerides and low hdl cholesterol,and also associated with increased risk for cardiovascular disease.It can be diagnosed by measuring heamoglobin A1c ,fasting glucose or glucose tollerance test.
