teenage and nutrition
A very sensitive phase in life is teenage ,where the actual development of major muscles and bones is going on ,and also hormone changes. at this stage children need a balanced diet which includes all vitamins minerals ,carbohyadrates ,proteins and healthy fats.
Due to modernisation at teenage most children are addicted to junk and fast foods they are consuming more calories and saturated faty acids, whole day they are spending at home infront of television or mobile, a major lack of exercise is seen at this age. such a type of unhealthy eatting patterns and disturbed life style leads to life style diseases like diabetes ,hormonal imbalance, hypertension heart diseases and in girls pcod and pcos.
for healthy life we need well balanced nutrition regular exercise and at least 7hours sound sleep.stress is also increasing at thisstage as there is incresing study pressure .many childrens are in confused mind situation. they are very eager to learn new things.sex education is also important at this stage, children are aware with whatever hormonal changes are happening. many parents are complaining about children anger and short temper.
nutrition plays an important role in child s mental and physical development. mindful eatting and healthy snacking plays an important role in teenage. daily one hour outdoor games and good diet make the child healthy
